The website chesshouse.am belongs to the Tigran Petrosian Chess House-Sports School (50 Khanjyan St., Yerevan 0025, Armenia). By using the site you accept these terms. Processing of personal data is governed by the Privacy Policy.
2. Content and copyright
Texts, photos and documents on the site belong to the Chess House or are used with their authors’ permission or under a free licence (see “Photos and licences”). They may be quoted with a reference to the source; commercial use requires written permission.
3. Accuracy of information
Tournament dates, times and conditions may change. In case of any discrepancy the tournament regulations (PDF) prevail. Ratings are shown from the official lists of FIDE and the Armenian Chess Association; ranks calculated on the site may differ by a few positions.
4. Tournament registration
- The applicant is responsible for the accuracy of the data. An application for a participant under 18 is submitted by a parent or legal guardian, a team application by the team representative.
- An application is accepted after confirmation by email and, if the regulations require an entry fee, after payment.
- The organiser may reject duplicate, incorrect or abusive applications, as well as applications when places run out or the regulations’ requirements are not met.
- An application can be cancelled via the email link or by calling (010) 55-46-47. Refunds of the entry fee follow the tournament regulations.
5. Prohibited
Sending automated (bot) applications, mass automated downloading of site content, attempts to bypass security measures, submitting false data on behalf of another person and interfering with the normal operation of the site.
6. External links
The site contains links to other websites (FIDE, the Armenian Chess Association, chess-results, Lichess, etc.). The Chess House is not responsible for their content or privacy practices.
7. Limitation of liability
The site is provided “as is”. We do our best to keep it running without interruptions and the information accurate, but we are not liable for technical interruptions or errors in third-party data.
8. Applicable law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Armenia. Disputes are settled by negotiation and, failing agreement, in the courts of the Republic of Armenia.
